Miss Julie Kohls is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises exclusively in foot and ankle care, from minor issues to complex surgical cases.

She offers expert diagnosis and management for a wide range of foot and ankle problems, including bunions, flat feet, forefoot pain, Morton’s neuroma, heel pain including achilles and plantar fasciitis, ankle instability, tendon and ligament injuries, toe deformities, ingrown toenails, arthritis, ankle fractures and post traumatic foot conditions

Training, Expertise and Professional Standing

Julie gained her medical degree in Canada, followed by orthopaedic training in the UK. In 2007 she was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons FRCS Tr and Orth.

She completed intensive subspecialty fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery, including at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and as Surrey Foot and Ankle Fellow at Royal Surrey County Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital.

She has managed thousands of foot and ankle cases ranging from simple injuries to complex reconstructive surgery, bringing a wealth of experience and specialist skill to her patients.

Beyond clinical practice, Julie is actively involved in teaching and training new doctors and contributes to national foot and ankle surgery courses and research.
